Out of Towners

For those of you flying in, the Portland airport is usually the easiest and least expensive way of getting here. However, if you can find flights into the Eugene airport, it's about an hour closer to Corvallis and is usually far less busy than the Portland airport. If you fly into Portland, there are shuttles you can take to get to Corvallis, or if you are flying in together, we may be able to scrounge up a van and collect everyone at once!
For places to stay, here is what we suggest: since the wedding is on a Sunday, we suggest you fly in on Friday or Saturday, and stay in Corvallis until the Monday after the wedding. There will probably be a group that will be staying in Neskowin on the coast, and The Thyme Garden is not much further from the coast than it is from Corvallis. Of course, these are just suggestions, and if you all want to stay in the Corvallis area longer or stay exclusively over at the coast, either would be fine.
If you're wanting to stay in Corvallis, here are two possibilities for places to stay in Corvallis:
This is a nice, brand new hotel on OSU's campus, and a 15 minute walk from downtown. The rooms have one king bed or two queens and are $129/night plus tax. Directions from here to Thyme Garden:

This is an older motel, right in downtown Corvallis. It is definitely not as nice as the Hilton, maybe a little dingy... however it is much cheaper. Ashley spoke with an employee there who said he would be able to book rooms for us for $60.19 plus tax per night. So if you want to stay here, let Ashley know so she can get it set up. Here's a map to give you a lay of the land. We've got markers for our house in Philomath, The Thyme Garden, and Ashley's family beach house in Neskowin. Click on the pink markers to get the addresses of the places, or to link to Google maps for directions.
